Tools: Genially, Twine
My Role: Instructional Designer, eLearning Developer
Time: 15 hours
Client: Designed for mixed-experience logistic teams needing targeted onboarding support.
Challenge
A Freight company provider began receiving refund requests and customer complaints linked to miscommunication around Incoterms. A financial review and satisfaction survey revealed that team members were interpreting Buyer and Seller responsibilities inconsistently. This prompted the need for a learning solution that would identify knowledge gaps and build confidence in client-facing conversations.
Solution
I designed a branching quiz using Genially and Twine to help assess which team members needed further training. The activity used scenario-based questions, formative feedback, and differentiated learning paths. Learners who selected incorrect answers were directed to a brief teaching slide before retrying. Those who required further support were transitioned to a Rise course aligned with performance goals. Completion of the quiz allowed the company to identify which team members needed targeted follow-up.
Pros
Engaging, visual learning format with immediate feedback.
Supports autonomy and just-in-time teaching.
Differentiated paths tailored to learner performance.
Cons
The quiz was time-intensive to build.
Future versions could integrate Google Forms to automate data collection and enable deeper analytics via Google Sheets.
