Learning Solution and Instructional intention
I designed the video to simplify complex pricing strategies before exploring them in depth later in the course. To connect with learners, I used animated metaphors, progressive examples, and clear storytelling. Animated text introduces key terminology, reinforced by a summary scene at the end. Additionally, micro-interactions like flashing dollar signs and iconography add non-verbal meaning.
Pros
The video sets the tone and prepares learners to apply what they learn as they price their own products. Through clear, calm, and visually engaging scenes, it supports learning without overwhelming. The end result supports clarity, retention, and confidence for learners new to pricing strategy.
Cons
Vyond allowed me to control pacing and layering, but I had to work around limited assets and overly bright default styles. I spent extra time adjusting colors and layouts to feel more realistic and inclusive.
